The Metro Detroit Association of Black Psychologists is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization. Your donations to our organization are tax-deductible. Below please find ways you can financially contribute towards our chapter to meet our community goals of enhancing the psychological, educational, cultural, and economic situation of the Metro Detroit community. 

General Fund


Donations to the general fund go toward the operating costs of ABPsi Detroit, including maintaining our status with the national organization, managing our website, and event planning.

Scholarship Fund

Donations to the Scholarship Fund go toward the Lamaurice Gardner Sr, Memorial Scholarship Fund which offers professional development funds to ABPsi Detroit members who are  graduate psychology students and early career psychologists.

Community Service Fund


Donations to the Community Service fund allow ABPsi Detroit to address the needs of our community, including providing education, sponsoring memberships, and hosting activities for the betterment of the Black community.
