Ronda Young has been an active volunteer and member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness since 2014. In 2018, she took her commitment to the next level by becoming an integral part of NAMI Detroit, serving as a co-facilitator for the Family Support Group, FaithNet Lead, and as a Board Member. Ronda currently works for the UAW Chrysler National Training Center in the Accounts Payable Department and has been employed there for 29 years.

 

Ronda earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Davenport  University and Associate of Biblical Studies from Midwest College of Theology.

 

Beyond her advocacy work, Ronda finds joy in creating delicious whole-food, plant based vegan meals, cherishing quiet moments, staying active and appreciating  quality time with her incredible husband Bobby, daughter Jasmine, son Terrez,  grandchildren Grayson and Angelina and son in love Hunor. “I am a passionate and driven individual with a strong interest in helping others.”
